Mission Statement
The Mission Statement for the Houghton Housing
Commission is to assist low-income families with safe,
decent, and affordable housing opportunity as they
strive to achieve self-sufficiency and improve the
quality of their lives. The Housing Commission is
committed to operating in an efficient, ethical, and
professional manner. We will partner with our Residents
and others to enhance the quality of life in our
community. |

The Houghton Housing Commission manages the
day-to-day operations of Heritage Manor and thirty
family houses with four employees and a five-member
board of Commissioners who are appointed by the City
Council of Houghton. |

Location and Hours
The Houghton Housing Commission's office is located at the Heritage Manor, 401 East Montezuma Avenue in Houghton. Visitor parking is located in the back of the building, off
Dodge Street.
Office hours are from 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).
